in network setup on the 32SC set AVB input blocks 3 and 4 (AVB inputs 17-32) to take their input from 16R blocks 1 and 2 (AVB sends 1-16). reset AVB patching on both mixers to default (AVB send 1 = channel 1 etc.) The selection is made in network setup.Ī bonus of the blocks system is that you can move remote input channels up and down the fader bank of the receiving mixer very quickly. This allows a mixer to take inputs from multiple devices on the network. This is always done in blocks of 8 channels and you can choose up to 8 blocks for a total of 64 channels in most Series III mixers. The second (or actually first) thing you have to decide in each mixer is which device or part of that device is on the other end of the snake. PreSonus’ AVB networking has a strong resemblance to good ol’ copper snake cabling in that what’s on each ‘wire’ can be changed on both ends of the cable With copper snakes you can move the connectors around and with the mixers you can change the digital patching per channel. I couldn’t find a suitable video quick so it has to be words for now.
